LAFAYETTE, LA (January 8, 2025) – Our Tier 1 internet provider, Lumen, has reported a significant fiber cut within its Texas infrastructure.
While our valued customers are not currently facing internet disruptions, we want to inform them that there may be potential slowdowns in internet speed during peak hours this evening.
Lumen’s technical personnel are actively working to resolve this issue and anticipate repairs will be completed by tomorrow morning. We remain committed to keeping our customers informed and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
Our Network Operations Center is aware of the situation and is taking proactive measures to manage our network traffic effectively to minimize any impact on our customers.
