Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Booked into Evidence by LPSO

LAFAYETTE, LA (October 23, 2024) – Roughly one pound of fentanyl and at least two pounds of methamphetamine are being booked into evidence after being seized as part of an investigation by Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Narcotics Agents.

The narcotics were located around 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday in the 200 block of Bridgeway Drive. More than $24,000 in U.S. currency was also seized.

One suspect, identified as Jevon Lively, 32, is wanted in connection with the case.

Lively faces charges of Possession with the Intent to Distribute (PWITD) Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS)(Fentanyl), PWITD Schedule II CDS (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Transactions Involving Proceeds from Drug Offenses, Violation of Uniform CDS Law; drug-free zone and Possession of CDS in the Presence of a Minor.
