UPDATE AND ARREST: Triple Homicide Investigation on 700 Block of S College Rd

UPDATE

LAFAYETTE, LA (Apr. 15, 2024, 4:58 p.m.) – The final victim from Friday Night’s homicide has been identified as Elizabeth Reames, a forty-six-year-old white female from Lafayette, Louisiana. All three bodies were found inside of Ms. Reames’ apartment late Friday afternoon. All three victims and the suspect, Chad Credeur, were mutual friends. At the time of Mr. Credeur’s arrest in Jeff Davis Parish he had all three victim’s identification and some personal belongings in his possession. The investigation is still ongoing and a motive has not yet been identified.

LAFAYETTE, LA (Apr. 13, 2024 10:21 a.m.) – Regarding last night’s triple homicide that occurred in the 700 block of South College Road, two of the victims have been identified as Brandon Touchet, a forty-five-year-old white male, and Eric Green, a forty-nine-year-old white male, both of Lafayette, Louisiana. The third victim in this case has not been identified yet.  All three victims were shot and killed. A suspect, Chad Credeur, a forty-two-year-old white male from Duson, Louisiana, has been arrested on a warrant for first-degree murder in regard to these murders. Credeur is currently incarcerated in Jeff Davis parish for charges unrelated to this case.

ORIGINAL

LAFAYETTE, LA (Apr. 12, 2024 9:25 p.m.) – At around 5:26 p.m., the Lafayette Police Department (LPD) received a call about a welfare concern in the 700 block of South College Road. Officers arrived at the residence and attempted to make contact with the individual of concern.  Entry was made into the residence in attempts to locate the individual. Upon entry, three deceased bodies were located.

LPD investigators and Crime Scene are currently on the scene gathering information and piecing together the facts. More information regarding this investigation will be released as it becomes available.
