Shooting Investigation
Lafayette, LA – Lafayette Police Officers are currently on the scene of a shooting that took place in the 800 block of Martin Luther King Jr Drive. Officers responded after receiving a report of gunshots being fired just after 8:00 p.m. Once on scene officers located a male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical, but stable condition. The investigation is ongoing, and update will be provided when available.
