Youngsville, LA (January 16, 2026) – The Youngsville Police Department is providing an update regarding the armed robbery that occurred on January 8.
Investigators have located and taken into custody the suspect who was previously at large. The suspect has been booked on charges related to the armed robbery.
The suspect is a juvenile, identified as a 15-year-old male. In accordance with state law and departmental policy, no further identifying information will be released.
The Police Department would like to thank the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office for their assistance and cooperation in locating the suspect.
