DOTD announces that the outside right lane and shoulder of I-10 eastbound, on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge at mile marker 121.2 (near Lake Pelba), will be closed to motorists on Monday, April 24, to allow crews to conduct an emergency bridge inspection.

The Wilderness Trail Road bridge crossing Bayou Vermilion and the Bourque Road bridge crossing Coulee Ile Des Cannes will be closing for repairs beginning Monday, April 24 for approximately two weeks, weather permitting. Detour routes will be made available.

I-10 westbound and eastbound will have alternating nightly inside lane closures from mile marker 108 to mile marker 115 beginning Monday, April 24 until Friday, April 28, from 8:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., weather permitting.

The US 167 (Johnston Street) crossover at Sears Drive will be permanently closed to all vehicular traffic at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, weather permitting.

On Tuesday, April 18, 2023 the overlay improvement project for La Neuville Road from Youngsville Highway to Bonin Road will begin.

The outside lane of I-10 eastbound from mile marker 112 to mile marker 114 will be closed daily from 7:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m., beginning Monday, April 17, until Friday, April 21, weather permitting.

S. Buchanan Street at Vermilion Street will close Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 7 AM to 9 AM for a crane to be placed in the roadway to lift HVAC equipment onto the roof of a business.

The eastbound outside lane of LA 14 (Veterans Memorial Drive) between N. Lyman Street and N. John Hardy Drive will be closed daily beginning Monday, April 24 until Friday, April 28 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.

LA 182 (East Main Street) from St. Etienne Road to LA 96 (Terrace Hwy.) will have nighttime road closures beginning Monday, April 17 until Saturday, April 22, weather permitting.

The inside lane of US 167 (Johnston Street) northbound will have a nightly lane closure from Crestlawn Drive to Sears Drive beginning Monday, April 17 until Thursday, April 20, from 7:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
