Youngsville Mayor Ken Ritter made an announcement regarding the Youngsville Highway widening project.

UPDATE: This closure has been extended to Friday, April 21 @ 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.

I-10 eastbound and westbound on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge in St. Martin and Iberville Parishes will have alternating lane closures for a sweeping operation on Sunday, March 19 at 8:00 p.m. until Monday, March 20 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

As part of Phase Two to replace the I-10 eastbound overpass over Interstate 49, today, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced upcoming lane and road closures, as well as detours, related to the work.

Drivers can expect intermittent lane closures in the northbound and southbound outside lanes of Pinhook Road between Mall Street and Jomela Drive for two weeks beginning Tuesday, March 7 through Tuesday, March 21.

The left turn lanes on US 167 (Johnston Street) in the southbound and northbound directions at its intersection with Duhon Road/Southcity Parkway will be closed beginning at Friday, March 3 at 7:00 a.m. until Monday, May 1, 2023, weather permitting.

The bridge on Arnaudville Road crossing Bayou Carencro at the St. Martin Parish line will close on Tuesday, February 28th for approximately two months, weather permitting for major bridge repairs.

Asphalt road improvements will be taking place on Verot School Road, between Highway 90 and Bolton Road from Wednesday, February 8 through Friday, February 17, weather permitting.

Effective immediately, the eastbound outside lane of U.S. 167 (Johnston Street), from Moncus Park to Bertrand Avenue, is closed due to a ruptured water line.
