At around 5:13 pm Lafayette Police responded to the 200 block of Street in reference to multiple shots fired in the area and a male lying in the roadway.

Lafayette firefighters responded to a commercial fire at The Edge Apartments, 1400 N. Bertrand Drive, at 7:38 p.m. last night.

A mile-long stretch of Pinhook Road, from Dorset Street to Jomela Drive, will soon be resurfaced, resulting in a much smoother ride for drivers.
