McDonald’s in Youngsville is a locally owned franchise of MacLaff, Inc., a privately owned franchise of McDonald’s Corporation by the Krampe Organization. MacLaff is a locally owned, family-operated business in Lafayette, Louisiana, serving the Acadiana and Baton Rouge areas with forty-five locations.
Twenty of MacLaff’s restaurants are in the Acadiana area, with the other twenty-five in the Baton Rouge area. MacLaff was started in 1972 by Ed Krampe, Jr. and is now owned by his sons Chris and EJ Krampe.
Due to local ownership, MacLaff can do more to give back to its community. MacLaff gives to its community through events such as McSchool Night and Coffee with the Chiefs and Mayor in Youngsville; and supports organizations such as Miles Perret Center Cancer Services, Healing House, University of Louisiana (UL) Athletics, and the Ronald McDonald House in Lafayette. The Ronald McDonald House has four rooms next to Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s & Children’s Hospital.

Naomi Vazquez is an example of career advancement. She started with the company in 1997 at sixteen and has worked her way up in the company and has been the manager of McDonald’s in Youngsville for the last seven years.
