Guest speaker at the Broussard Chamber of Commerce luncheon today was Matt Stuller. Stuller spoke about keeping communities clean and litter-free for beautification and economic development.

Stuller owns Stuller, Inc. in Lafayette, Louisiana, and is the founder of Parish Proud. Parish Proud is an organization that helps to bring pride to communities by transforming Acadiana’s public spaces through education, inspiration, participation, and community collaboration.

Stuller told the luncheon crowd the City of Broussard has had Broussard Proud for the last two years, which works to beautify the city. Broussard Proud has volunteers who give their time to make a difference in their communities by picking up litter.

Parish Proud works with volunteers, builders, architects, local businesses, Lafayette Consolidated Government, Lafayette Parish School System, etc., for a people-powered movement to collaborate with community leaders, governments, business owners, and intentional city planning to improve urban vitality and revitalization.

Everyone can make a difference in the cleanliness of their community.
