Over the weekend, Youngsville Mayor Ken Ritter and members of the Youngsville city council traveled to Alexandria, Louisiana to participate in the Louisiana Municipal Association conference.

Youngsville and its team were recognized with an honorable mention for the sewer pump station three upgrade and downtown streetscape improvement project completed earlier this year.

This project consisted of an overlay and widening of Lafayette Street, redesigning and beautifying Church Street, improved sidewalks, parking, drainage, street lighting, and overlays on Jacque, School, and Bank Streets.
