Broussard Mayor Ray Bourque and Youngsville Mayor Ken Ritter joined Ken Stansbury last night in endorsing his campaign for Lafayette Parish Council District 3. The election is scheduled for October 14, 2023.

The campaign fundraising event was held at Fezzo’s Restaurant in Broussard, Louisiana.

Stansbury spoke about the comments made by both mayors and himself saying, “We had a unifying message that made it clear that we must continue to work together to move our Parish forward. I am an experienced leader with proven results, and I hope to bring my experience and mindset to Lafayette Parish and District 3.” He further said, “This campaign is not about me; it’s about us.”

Council members from both cities, candidates for the upcoming election, supporters, and members of the public attended the event.

Stansbury is currently a council member for the City of Youngsville.
