Lauren Landry of Youngsville, Louisiana, is a self-published author who recently published seven pieces of literature. She did this as a part of her “fearlessly running on faith” lifestyle and community she is building.
After last school year, Landry, a former Lafayette Parish School System teacher, felt a calling from God to leave the classroom. She stepped out of the classroom to fearlessly run on faith, trust God’s plans, and do what she says He is calling her to do, which is continuing to teach others through her words.
When Landry and her husband had a rough patch in their marriage, she said they had long conversations about their marriage and decided for their marriage to work, they needed to put God in themselves and their marriage. This is where she encountered a real relationship with God and put her faith in Him. Without God, Landry said they would not still be married.
After Landry allowed God into her life and marriage, she started writing her Faith in Marriage book in her Fearlessly Running on Faith Collection. Marriage uses FAITH as an acronym for Faithful, Attentive, Intentional, Truth, and Healing.

Landry is a graduate of Comeaux High School in Lafayette. After graduation, she attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and received her bachelor’s degree in Education.
