BROUSSARD, LA (Jun. 4, 2024) – The Broussard Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) hosted its third job fair, the 2024 Broussard Community Job Fair, today at Broussard Middle School.
The job fair allowed job seekers to connect with business recruiters and employers from Broussard and beyond seeking new employees.
Ryan LaGrange with BEDC, provided the following information regarding the job fair:
- The event featured 38 employers and 4 resource provider exhibitors and attracted over 160 job seekers.
- Businesses reported making 3 job offers at the event and plans to schedule 172 interviews following the job fair.
- Employers also rated 262 candidates they visited with at the job fair as viable candidates for employment with their organization.
