JP Broussard Announces Candidacy for Youngsville Police Chief

Jean Paul “JP” Broussard hosted his campaign kickoff last night at Crème de la Crème in Youngsville, Louisiana. Broussard, who has 27 years of experience in emergency services and law enforcement, is running for Youngsville Police Chief in the special election scheduled for November 5, 2024, to fulfill the term left open when former Youngsville Police Chief Ricky Boudreaux resigned in August 2023. Cody Louviere was appointed as interim chief by the Youngsville City Council to serve until a new chief could be elected in the special election.
