Youngsville, LA (April 7, 2026) – Tropical Smoothie Cafe officially opened its doors in Youngsville with a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Youngsville Chamber of Commerce on Monday morning, April 6, 2026.
Despite chilly weather conditions, community members gathered to welcome the new business to the area. Ken Ritter attended the event and formally welcomed the restaurant, joined by Councilman Lindy Bolgiano, Councilwoman Shannon Bares, and Chief of Police Jean Paul Broussard.
The new location is owned by BJ Crist and Gus Rezende, who bring the brand’s mission of promoting healthier lifestyle choices to the Youngsville community. Tropical Smoothie Cafe is known for its focus on fresh ingredients and its “Eat Better, Feel Better” philosophy.
Residents are encouraged to visit the new location and support the locally owned business.
Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Youngsville is located at 1821 Chemin Metairie Parkway and operates Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
