Broussard, LA (April 7, 2026) – Campbell Academy, a state-licensed child care facility based in Lafayette, is planning to open a second location at 637 West Main Street in Broussard, with an anticipated opening in May.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to mark the upcoming opening and to introduce the academy’s approach to early childhood education to families in the Broussard area.

The academy serves children from infancy through preschool, offering a program designed to support both early development and the needs of working families.

Campbell Academy focuses on providing a strong academic foundation while fostering creativity, teamwork, physical activity, and environmental awareness. The program emphasizes a structured yet nurturing environment intended to prepare children for future academic success.

“Our goal is to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow,” said founder Sherrie Campbell. “We understand that early childhood education plays an important role in a child’s future, and we are committed to meeting the needs of each child and family we serve.”

The Broussard location will expand access to Campbell Academy’s services beyond Lafayette, providing another option for families seeking early childhood education in the area.

Enrollment is currently open for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. For more information or to schedule a tour, visit cacardinals.com or call (337) 456-2950.
