Youngsville, LA (April 16, 2026) – Former professional mixed martial artist Dustin Poirier was sworn in as an honorary officer with the Youngsville Police Department.

Youngsville Police Chief Jean Paul “JP” Broussard said the recognition was intended to give back to Poirier, citing his ongoing contributions to local communities.
