Youngsville Police Recover Stolen Vehicle, Trailer; Suspect Arrested

Youngsville, LA (May 2, 2026) — The Youngsville Police Department has recovered a vehicle, a horse trailer, and additional property reported stolen on April 29, 2026.

Working in coordination with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office, including the SWAT team, investigators recovered all reported stolen items and arrested Koby Albanese.

Albanese was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on the following charges:

  • Simple burglary
  • Theft of a motor vehicle
  • Unauthorized use of a movable

He was also booked on an outstanding warrant.

The Youngsville Police Department expressed appreciation to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office for its assistance in the investigation.
