Morvant explains that using professional photos is an investment in both you and your business. It was further explained it is important for the images used in advertising and marketing your business be unique to your business, unlike stock photos which are generic. He does photo shoots for advertising and marketing campaigns such as for social media, web site, politics, realtors, attorneys, and industrial and for other types of campaigns.
When asked when he started with photography, Morvant told the story of him being his father’s assistant at age five. Ray Morvant would take his son along with him in the 1960s to take photos of the homes he insured. The elder Morvant used a Polaroid camera to take photos of the houses. Once he pulled the film from the camera, the elder Morvant gave the film to his son and told him to wait until the timer went off before peeling back the sheet of the photograph. Once the younger Morvant waited the necessary time, then peeled the sheet from the photo, he told his father the picture of the house looked better than the house itself. The elder Morvant responds to his son, “that’s the idea, son”.
Morvant also does personal and family portraits, videography, and drone footage.
