Krewe La Vie Doux will hold a Jambalaya and Pastalaya Cook-Off on Mother’s Day, May 11, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cook-off will be held at Youngsville Sports Complex, located at 801 Savoy Road in Youngsville, Louisiana.
The cook-off is in memory of Gary P. Williams. A portion of the proceeds will benefit two local graduates planning to attend a trade school.
Entry fees are $10 for attendees. Free entry for children under ten years old. Military and first responders eat free.
The registration cost is $50, which includes four wristbands per team. There is a three-gallon minimum per team. Prizes will be awarded to winning teams, and there will be a silent auction.
