Lafayette, LA (February 13, 2025) – District 1 Lafayette City Councilman Elroy Broussard is hosting a town hall meeting to provide another opportunity for his constituents and Lafayette residents to gather pertinent updates, ask questions, and provide feedback about the Lafayette Utilities System (LUS) Bonin Redevelopment Project (Bonin 4) and the University Avenue Corridor Improvements Project (Revitalization).

Last spring, Councilman Broussard held a town hall meeting for this purpose and, again, seeks to share pertinent updates on these important City projects. This meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025, in the parish church hall on the campus of Saint Anthony Catholic Church, located at 600 Madeline Avenue / 615 Edison Street in Lafayette.

Directors and engineers from LUS, along with the Public Works and Traffic, Roads & Bridges Departments, will be available to offer updates on each project. Councilman Broussard strongly encourages citizen interest, input, and engagement in these projects, so this meeting is open to the public.
