Members of the Broussard-Larriviere-Trahan VFW Post 9210 honored veterans and widows of veterans at the Assisted Living facility in Youngsville this morning.
Ebonie Pillette, Activities Director at BeeHive coordinated for this event for the residents. Drew Hoffpauir sang the National Anthem for the residents. House Director Rachel Hoffpauir and owner Davis Corbett were also on hand for the event.
Honored were: John Gerald Comeaux US Army, Korea, Millard Doyle US Army Korea, Ina Roberts Cohn US Cadet Nurse Corps, Robert Stan Robinson US Air Force and Clifton Mouton US Air Force Vietnam.
Widows of veterans honored were: Ina Cohn, Paula Hebert, Lonie Delcamre, Earlene Manfre, Nell Greenley, Gerry Delahoussaye, Essie Briley, Annie Smith, Rutha Frame, Molly Foreman, Kathy Larpentar.
