Lafayette, LA – The I-10 Eastbound bridge at the Evangeline Thruway will be closed for the remainder of the night and two out of the three northbound lanes of Evangeline Thruway will also be closed.

Damage to Overpass at I-10 & I-49
Lafayette, LA – I-10 Eastbound is currently shutdown near the Evangeline Thruway. Structural damage was caused to the overpass after an 18-wheeler traveling Northbound on the Evangeline Thruway struck the bridge. Eastbound traffic on I-10 is being diverted southbound on I-49, please avoid the area if possible.
