On April 2, 2024, in reference to a long-term investigation involving Lafayette Police Department (LPD) Narcotics Agents, Lafayette Police Narcotics Street Teams, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and Louisiana State Police (LSP), agencies executed two search warrants.
