LAFAYETTE, LA (Apr. 26, 2024) – The Lafayette Police Department is currently on the scene at I-10 and University Avenue due to a major traffic accident. As a result of this accident, I-10 Eastbound is currently shut down for normal flow of traffic.
Minor injuries have been reported. The roadway is closed due to inoperable vehicles blocking the roadway at the moment.
An update shall be provided once the roadway is cleared to be open.
