Two women were arrested following an altercation in the 2600 block of Mills Street on Saturday night.

On April 2, 2024, in reference to a long-term investigation involving Lafayette Police Department (LPD) Narcotics Agents, Lafayette Police Narcotics Street Teams, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and Louisiana State Police (LSP), agencies executed two search warrants.

Joshua Alesi, thirty-three, is charged with Negligent Homicide, Negligent Injuring, and Careless Operation stemming from a multi-vehicle crash in the 2200 block of Mills Street on Thursday afternoon.
