One man is arrested after Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Agents discovered approximately 775 grams of fentanyl and heroin in a Lafayette Parish residence last Tuesday.

The inside travel lane of LA 3073 (Ambassador Caffery Pkwy), southbound, from LA 89-1 (Youngsville Hwy) to approximately .5 miles east of the intersection, will be closed beginning Monday, October 23 to Wednesday, November 1, 2023, weather permitting.

A sixty-three-year-old man shot his sixty-year-old ex-girlfriend/victim in her residence before dying of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
