Youngsville Suspect Arrested for Attempted Kidnapping in Lafayette

On July 24, 2023, suspect Andrew Keith Panday, a sixty-three-year-old resident of Youngsville, Louisiana, was arrested on one count of attempted kidnapping and booked into Lafayette Parish Correctional Center. 

Naquin Defers Short-Term Rental Ordinance

As author of City Ordinance CO-094-2023 that would prohibit short-term rentals (STRs) in Residential Single-Family (RS) Zoning Districts, City District 2 Council Member Andy Naquin has requested that the ordinance be deferred until the August 22, 2023 Council Meeting to allow additional review time to consider amendments to the ordinance.

EXTENDED: Lane Closure: Amb Caffery between Robley and Englewood
