On 07/05/2023 at 1:35 p.m., The Lafayette Police Department responded to the 500 block of West Gilman Street, in reference to a shooting incident.

On Monday, June 26th, 2023, at 08:42 p.m., The Lafayette Police Department responded to the 300 block of East Simcoe Street regarding a stabbing in progress, upon arrival responding Officers located one victim inside a residence, with multiple apparent stab wounds to their person.

Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Detectives have arrested one man in connection to a November homicide in Lafayette Parish.

Two people are under arrest in Lafayette Parish after discovering a body inside a vehicle.

On 06/22/2023 at 10:45 a.m., The Lafayette Police Department responded to the 2100 block of North West Evangeline Thruway in reference to a major traffic crash.

On 06/19/2023 at approximately 8:59 p.m., The Lafayette Police Department responded to the 200 block of Terminal Drive, in regards to a disturbance call.

The Lafayette Police Department was on the scene in the 100 block of South Orleans Drive, working on an active homicide investigation.

On 06/16/2023, The Lafayette Police Department was contacted by Harrison County Sheriff’s Office in Mississippi due to a subject currently in their custody for unrelated crimes to this incident.

On June 18, 2023, at around 2:28 p.m., Lafayette Police responded to the 100 block of Vieux Orleans Circle about an aggravated assault with a firearm.

On June 15, 2023, at approximately 8:00 P.M., Lafayette Police responded to the 3700 block of Johnston Street to assist the Lafayette Fire Department with a road hazard.
